Job Summary:

This role is focused on providing expert scheduling and patient access services within a healthcare setting, specifically supporting Radiology and Cardiology Imaging departments. The Scheduler will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and coordinate complex imaging appointments while ensuring all clinical and financial authorizations are in place. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. Collaboration with providers, clinical teams, and revenue cycle staff is essential to deliver outstanding patient experiences and maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Schedule complex imaging services in Radiology and Cardiology departments accurately and efficiently.
• Perform patient registration and verify insurance coverage and authorizations.
• Manage inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers.
• Ensure all clinical, financial, and eligibility requirements are met prior to scheduling.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and revenue cycle teams to resolve scheduling and authorization issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within scheduling and electronic health record systems.
• Work in a metrics-driven environment balancing productivity, quality, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

• Direct experience in patient scheduling and patient access functions.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record and scheduling software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Punjabi.
• Experience in Radiology and Cardiology Imaging workflows and scheduling protocols.
• Knowledge of insurance authorization and eligibility verification processes.
• Demonstrated personal drive and motivation through accomplishments.

• Work environment requires handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• Must be able to work within a fast-paced, metrics-driven call center setting.
• Collaboration with multiple departments including clinical and revenue cycle teams is essential.

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Shift hours from 3:00 AM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
