Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Ability to follow teacher instructions and collaborate with staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification is a plus
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to individual students or small groups
- Assist teachers with classroom management and implementation of lesson plans
- Support students with academic tasks, assignments, and activities
- Foster a positive, respectful, and safe classroom culture
- Aid students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs), when applicable
- Help supervise students during daily transitions, breaks, and activities
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
