As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of professionals who are committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats in the Roseville and surrounding communities. Daily Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for daily appointment shedule and client education Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures Provide care for small animals, including obtaining vital signs and administering medications Educate clients on proper pet care and treatment plans Up to date on vaccine protocols and current prevention recommendations Assist with patient recovery and post-operative care Maintain cleanliness of kennels and hospital facilities Occassional kennel duties, including feeding, walking, and cleaning Assist with small animal medicine, fluid therapy, and digital radiography Required Skills: Experience in animal handling and restraint Knowledge of small animal care and preventive care practices Strong client education skills Experience with patient recovery and fear-free techniques Nice to Have Skills: Certification as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician Experience with digital radiography Knowledge of animal welfare and preventive care Experience laser therapy Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $18.00 per hour Maximum Salary: $22.00 per hour dependant on experience Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401(k), Sick Leave, Holiday Pay, Paid Time Off Company Information: West Roseville Veterinary Hospital is a PRIVATELY OWNED veterinary hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, and advanced diagnostics, serving the Roseville and surrounding communities.
