Responsible for developing and executing creative campaigns, building audience, strengthening connections with volunteers, supporters, donors, and partners, and challenging misconceptions around migration issues.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement communication strategies and campaigns that raise awareness of asylum seekers and refugees.Create compelling content for a variety of media, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and other communication collateral.Build and nurture relationships with volunteers, supporters, donors, partners and media outlets.Monitor emerging trends, media stories and opportunities to shape and adapt campaign messaging.Collaborate with the Business Development and Communications team to achieve shared objectives.Provide timely internal briefings and reports on campaign performance and audience engagement.Ensure communication work aligns with the Foundation's values and brand guidelines.QualificationsExperience in communications, marketing, or campaigns, preferably in a non‑profit or related sector.Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with a strong understanding of how to adapt messaging for different audiences.Knowledge of migration and asylum issues is desirable.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work independently, balancing long‑term strategic planning with rapid response to emerging opportunities.Capability to handle sensitive and potentially traumatic content with professionalism and personal well‑being in mind.Valid right to work in the UK, a DBS check and two satisfactory references.Benefits35‑hour work week36 days annual leave (including bank holidays)6% employer pension contributionEAP & welfare supportEnhanced sick leave & compassionate leaveAction Foundation is an Equal Opportunity employer.
