Position Details Mechanical Technician – Industrial Water Treatment ProjectLocation: Spring Hill, FLProject Duration: Approximately 18 MonthsPay Rate: Competitive Pay Based on ExperienceShift: Daylight | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMSchedule: Monday – Friday (Overtime as needed)Position Overview The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems throughout the facility. This individual will act as a maintenance lead, supporting preventative maintenance planning, coordinating subcontractor work, and ensuring the overall reliability and upkeep of plant equipment.Key Responsibilities Repair and replace valves, piping components, and related mechanical systemsPerform routine maintenance in accordance with equipment manufacturer schedulesLubricate rotating equipment including pumps, motors, and blowersPerform pump alignment and bearing and seal replacementIdentify and arrest leaks throughout mechanical systemsRepair and maintain chemical dosing pumpsCoordinate and supervise subcontractor activities as requiredLead preventative maintenance planning and schedulingSupport the overall upkeep and mechanical reliability of the facilityPrepare reports documenting maintenance activities and equipment performanceAdvise on spare parts requirements, maintenance planning, and inventory controlMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas through proper housekeepingFollow all safety policies and site-specific requirementsQualifications and Skills 3–5 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experienceStrong troubleshooting skills with water treatment systems including pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and pipingAbility to read and follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructionsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks or projectsExcellent communication skills and a professional, positive attitudeHigh attention to detail with a team-oriented approachEducation and Experience Two-year technical school degree preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be consideredPrior experience working in industrial water treatment facilities strongly preferredExperience with pretreatment, demineralization, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, EDI, thermal desalination, or zero-liquid discharge systems is a plusPhysical and Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and move equipment as requiredAbility to work in an active industrial environmentWillingness to work overtime as project demands require#J-18808-Ljbffr
