Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Fence Installer is responsible for helping build and repair fences by performing tasks such as loading materials, digging post holes, setting posts, attaching rails and pickets, and cleaning the job site. Installers must follow instructions from the Foreman or Crew Leader, work safely, use tools properly, and contribute to a smooth and efficient build process.Responsibilities: Fabricate and install various types of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, and metalAssist the crew lead in preparing materials, tools, and site layoutDig post holes manually or with powered augers and set posts in concreteCut and assemble fence materials accurately and efficientlyOperate hand tools and small power equipment safelyLoad and unload trucks before and after job completionKeep the job site clean and organized throughout the dayAlways follow safety policies and guidelinesCommunicate respectfully with team members and customers on-siteSupport other crew members to ensure projects are completed on timeMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionRequirements: Proven experience in fencing installation or fabrication preferred.Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in fencing projects.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed1+ year of fence installation, landscaping, or construction experienceAbout Us: BzB Fencing and Fabrication has been serving the Orangevale and surrounding community for over a decade, providing high-quality fencing solutions that exceed customer expectations.
