Staff Accountant
Lincoln, CA (onsite)
Are you a seasoned staff or senior accountant looking to join a great team? Do you have strong reconciliations and GL background and are able to work well in a changing environment? We are looking for a senior or staff accountant for a wonderful new job in Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, an accounting degree, and strong month-end close background. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting activities
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Analyze accounts and investigate variances to ensure accuracy
- Assist with financial statements and internal reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting operations
- Support audits and provide requested documentation as needed
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong general ledger and month-end close background
- Solid experience with balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems
- POS system experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
