Duties/Day to Day Overview - Improve brands teams ability to optimize online merchandising strategies and product catalog at scale by providing easy to use tools that support our evolving business needs. Collaborate with business and technology eCommerce teams to facilitate and implement the roadmap for our digital web merchandising and asset management solutions across WSI brands. Pro-actively measure and socialize feature effectiveness and value. Gather, track and report metrics and key performance indicators for new features and functionality. Serve as primary liaison between Business, Creative, UX and Technology teams to ensure new solutions meet business expectations with high adoption and satisfaction rates. Lead the definition, prioritization, intake and scoping of Web Content Management related initiatives, using all available data and resources to guide decision-making. Partner with Technical Project Managers to lead the execution of projects. Attend project meetings and provide status reports to the business team. Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of daily project issues. Acts as an owner, mentor and product category expert. Builds strong cross functional relationships by approaching all interactions with an entrepreneurial mindset. Develop business requirements and detailed user stories for Web Merchandising Systems enhancements and features. Educate Brand teams and Stakeholders on recommendations, guiding discussions to consensus and driving action items. Recommend and facilitate cross-concept initiatives and features. Assists in definition and management of project scope and subsequent change requests. Assist in the definition and implementation of new processes as they relate to new features. Educate the business team on new application and processes related to platform and feature enhancements and ensure the team is equipped and trained appropriately. Evaluate alternative operational efficiencies and business process changes. Organize and Facilitate User Acceptance Testing. Track and report on issues and solutions and escalate when appropriate. Provide support to Business and Technology teams where necessary. Operate a computer and communicate via telephone, zoom, slack and other digital methods.
Top Requirements (Must Haves) - 5+ years of product management or senior business analyst experience within a retail-technology organization. Deep experience in web merchandising solutions in large catalog organizations. Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale eCommerce projects from vision through implementation. Ideal candidate will have experience in a large re-platform projects. Strong stakeholder management experience being the lead representing the business, owning requirements gathering and documentation in the form of user stores. Experience being involved in change management efforts, as a result of the new application/software delivered. High technical aptitude (understand abstract concepts, understand complex workflow requirements and communicate those to engineering). Retail experience understanding of products, categories, product information, skus, images and generally web merchandising. Experience with Enterprise Digital Assess Management is a plus. Ability to interface with business as well as technology teams. Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated the ability to work with various teams harmoniously while keeping project releases on time and on budget. Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization. Experience working within Scrum or other Agile environments. Experience with Jira & Confluence, specifically authoring effective JIRA stories for functional requirements, detailed acceptance criteria and prioritization with delivery teams.
Additional Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computers, engineering or equivalent experience. Strong drive towards execution; can-do type of person. Good communication skills and an ability to lead and influence others. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
