HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $31 - $35 DOI, Overtime eligible.

Key Responsibilities:

The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing the Formaggio & Banquets kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence.

  • Supervise and ensure consistent standards for food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Train, mentor, and lead kitchen team to maintain peak performance and cohesion
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering, storage, food-cost tracking, and waste control
  • Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with Banquets and Catering teams for seamless event execution
  • Step in to oversee service periods and support the Executive Chef as needed

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • 10+ years of culinary experience, including at least 3-5 years of supervisory or kitchen management
  • In-depth knowledge of upscale cuisine, banquet operations, and high-volume foodservice
  • Culinary degree preferred, or an equivalent blend of education and experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience in budgeting, cost controls, scheduling, inventory, and vendor relations
  • Experience in banquet or hotel kitchen environments Food-safety certification (e.g., ServSafe)
  • Relevant military culinary experience
