Veterinary Technician - Intensive Care Unit- OvernightsVeterinary Specialty Hospital in Roseville--is open 24 hours a day and is staffed by a team of highly skilled, compassionate veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are extensively trained in emergency medicine and intensive care.-- We are committed to working closely with the family and family veterinarians in providing the best care for your pet.We are on the hunt for an overnight experienced Veterinary Technician-- to join our team!About the Job: As a--Veterinary Technician--in the ICU department will be responsible for:Provide nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring consistent evaluation and monitoringDemonstrate proficiency in advanced hospitalization care and continuous rate infusions (CRIs)Perform in-house laboratory proceduresSkillfully place intravenous (IV) cathetersConduct accurate and detailed patient roundsSafely restrain fractious and frightened patientsObtain temperature, pulse, and respiration (TPR) measurements and maintain medical recordsRecognize situations requiring immediate attention from a veterinarianAct as an advocate for both the patient and the client--Other duties as assignedOur compensation for this role typically falls between $24.00-$31.00 hourly.Schedule:--Wednesday-Saturday, 4/10 hr shiftsOvernight shift--differential offeredAbout You:Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.Passion for providing the highest quality in patient care.Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is required.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a Veterinary Technician--in an animal hospital setting required.
