About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join our Labor & Employment practice group. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least three years of substantive experience handling complex employment and/or litigation matters and who thrives in a fast-paced, litigation-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a robust caseload of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Draft, review, and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and administrative hearings
  • Prepare cases for trial, including strategy development, discovery, and witness preparation
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a wide range of employment issues

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 years of labor and employment and/or litigation experience
  • Demonstrated experience taking depositions and handling hearings, arbitrations, and/or trials
  • Strong motion practice experience, including drafting and arguing motions
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Trial experience as first or second chair
  • Experience with wage and hour class actions and/or PAGA matters
