Description:

Comrise is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in a high-impact, precision-driven manufacturing role. This position is critical for producing high-quality programs for complex parts and supporting overall production strategy.
Job Overview

  • Job Title: CNC Programmer
  • Shift: 1st Shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), with OT as necessary
  • Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 USD per hour
  • Role Type: Advanced programming for Machining and EDM operations
Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Programming: Create programs for 3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe equipment.
  • Technical Design: Perform fixture design for complex geometries and advanced SolidWorks modeling.
  • Optimization: Lead tool selection and spindle time optimization to improve efficiency.
  • Validation: Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure program validation and conduct quality checks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of existing programs and tooling strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
  • Software Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Fusion 360 and advanced SolidWorks modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with high-tolerance machining and a deep understanding of shop math.
  • Problem Solving: Proven ability in technical problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
