An opportunity is available for an experienced CT/X-ray Technologist to support advanced radiology services at a well-equipped medical facility in Foresthill, CA. This travel position offers the chance to apply your specialized skills in a dynamic hospital setting while experiencing life in the scenic Sierra Nevada region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging procedures with accuracy and patient care focus
- Operate Siemens and GE CT equipment, ensuring quality imaging and safety compliance
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, utilizing your California Radiologic Technologist license and Fluoroscopy permit
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support diagnostic needs without on-call requirement
- Complete required training modules prior to assignment start, ensuring readiness for all procedures
- Minimum 2 full years of CT/X-ray technologist experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with Fluoroscopy permit
- Registered Technologist credentials: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)
- Proven proficiency with Siemens and GE CT imaging equipment preferred
- Ability to provide two supervisory references (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)
- 12-hour shifts with varied schedules:
- AM shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- PM shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- No call requirements
