Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. With a strong foundation in supply chain solutions, we support critical industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, and pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities
Pick orders using paper pick sheets.
Operate stand-up reach lifts and sit-down forklifts.
Wrap pallets using pallet wrapping machines.
Use forklifts to load and unload trucks.
Undergo 2-4 weeks of in-house training to ensure safety before operating forklifts.
Cross-train in all warehouse functions, eliminating specific roles like order pullers or shippers.
Utilize company-specific software; computer experience is necessary.
Engage in inventory control and manage shipping and receiving tasks.
Handle inbound and outbound freight efficiently.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience with sit-down forklifts.
Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Forklift operation and order picking expertise.
Proficiency in computer skills and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Warehouse management experience or WMS preferred.
Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
Motivation for career advancement.
General labor and material handling skills.

Work Environment
This role is located within a logistics warehouse and distribution center that stores sensitive products used for military purposes. Employees will work primarily from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, with the facility providing a safe and structured environment for career growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
