PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: This position is designed for new industry professionals, beginning with a comprehensive 4-week training program, followed by a thorough onboarding experience. You'll receive guidance from a mentor and manager, equipping you with essential skills for a successful claims adjusting career. This program allows you to advance within the industry.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Complete assigned training program for claims professionals.
Adjust various workers' compensation claims under supervision, which includes:
Processing and responding to claim-related correspondence.
Communicating effectively with employees, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and carrier representatives through calls, video, and email.
Investigating claims by collecting relevant information, including medical records and witness statements.
Determining coverage and benefits as per jurisdictional guidelines.
Documenting claims accurately and preparing detailed reports.
Administering claim benefits and ensuring compliance with state requirements.
Participating in meetings and training sessions for educational purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE
No prior experience is required.
As mandated by law, Sedgwick provides a fair compensation range for positions with pay transparency requirements. The starting pay for this role is $27.69/hr, influenced by various factors.
