About the Role:

Join KIBO&CO Electrical Corp as a Junior Commercial Electrical Estimator, where you'll play a vital role in shaping our projects from the ground up. Be part of a dynamic team in Roseville, CA, dedicated to delivering exceptional electrical solutions while ensuring cost efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on field experience combined with office-based estimating experience using industry-standard estimating software.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial and industrial electrical projects

Perform material take-offs and analyze project drawings, specifications, and addenda

Support senior estimators in identifying cost-effective solutions and accurate project scope coverage

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and estimating team members to ensure accurate project costing

Participate in site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs to assess project requirements and gather relevant data

Request, compile, and review pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

Assist with tracking estimate data and supporting cost reviews as needed

Utilize electrical estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in bid preparation

Maintain organized estimating files and documentation

Stay informed of applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations

Requirements:

2–3 years of commercial or industrial electrical field experience

2–3 years of electrical estimating experience in an office environment

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong understanding of electrical materials, methods, and labor units

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications

Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
