This means that we celebrate diversity and equity for all who live and work with us, building a culture of belonging and community across the aging spectrum./ph3Position Summary/h3pThe Campus Patrol is responsible for the general safety of the campus which includes making rounds in order to monitor the campus security services, check automobiles, apartments, other buildings, grounds, etc. The Campus Patrol checks visitors and residents in and out of community entrance and parking, alerts law enforcement of suspicious circumstances, and transports residents on campus. The Campus Patrol is to be able to work nights, weekends and holidays./ppThe starting salary for this position ranges from $17.75 to $21.53/hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered./ph3Position Responsibilities Include/h3ulliMaintains efficient record-keeping systems of all patrol checks./liliMakes campus rounds on a routine basis to monitor safety/security services in place./liliMakes vacation checks for residents on vacation./liliRoutinely makes safety checks of the residents automobiles and the parking lot./liliAlerts law enforcement of suspicious situations./liliResponds to requests for special residential security checks./liliResponds in an appropriate manner in emergency situations./liliMonitors the safety/security measures in place on the campus including, but not limited to, surveillance cameras./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pEducation: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. preferred./ppTraining and Experience: First aid training required. Must have a valid California drivers license and no more than one at-fault (preventable) accidents or two moving violations within the last three years.
