Job Details

This is a hands-on Controller role with a clear transformation mandate. The organization is evolving from a predominantly grant-funded model to a fee-based, contract-driven revenue structure. The Controller will play a critical role in modernizing finance operations, strengthening systems and processes, and building a forward-looking, analytical finance function that supports a growing Healthcare IT organization.

This is not an advisory, oversight, or fractional engagement. The Controller will be fully embedded in the organization and directly accountable for execution, outcomes, and operational improvement.

The role requires comfort operating in an environment with evolving processes, limited standardization, and active change.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in a Controller or senior finance leadership role
• Demonstrated success leading finance process transformation and/or systems implementations
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including the ability to navigate, validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data
• Experience operating in a fee-based, services-driven, or contract-based revenue model
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial trends, drivers, and operational impacts
• Proven ability to operate effectively in environments with evolving processes and limited standardization
• Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid environment (1-2 days per week in office)
• Experience within a non-profit organization (preferred, not required)
• Consulting, turnaround, or transformation-focused experience
• Exposure to complex billing structures, multi-SOW environments, or healthcare-related revenue models
• Demonstrated interest in leveraging technology and data to drive efficiency, insight, and scalability
