Position Summary:
The dishwasher is responsible for assisting with the set-up and break down of the buffet tables and wait stations. The dishwasher is also responsible for washing dishes, utensils, pots and pans and for maintaining the kitchen area in a clean and orderly fashion. The dishwasher will also assist in putting away deliveries as assigned by the supervisor.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $17.40 to $20.96/hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

Position Responsibilities include:

• Assists in the set up and break down meals.
• Washes dishes as per policy. Maintains dish machine and sanitization logs.
• Assists Supervisor/Manager/Director in assigned tasks as directed
• Maintains the cleanliness of the department posted cleaning schedule.
• Reports damage or problems to Supervisor/Maintenance.
• Keeps supervisor/manager informed of questions, reactions, comments or problems that may arise.
• Familiar with food service disaster plan.

Qualifications

Education:High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred.

Training and Experience:Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred.

Job Knowledge:Understands the philosophy of quality customer service and customer satisfaction.

The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
