One of SGA's major pharmaceutical/healthcare industry clients is looking for a Remote SAP/Hana Security Architect for a long-term contract role. This will be a remote role working EST/CST hours.

• POSITION SUMMARY
  This role is responsible for leading the design, build, and deployment of medium to large-scale information security solutions, with a strong emphasis on SAP environments.
• Architects define the key building blocks for future state architecture by bringing in an information security perspective and creating the roadmap to realize the same.
• They analyze security requirements and define highly secure system architectures that meet business needs, including SAP application landscapes, server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols.
• They also recommend modifications to SAP application development, database design, networking, or infrastructure architecture to ensure compliance with internal information security policies and standards.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with internal and external business functional groups to analyze and evaluate business requirements; designs, develops, and manages medium to large-scale information security solutions, including SAP systems and modules.
• Maintains the integrity of current and proposed architectures to assure quality, consistency, and adherence to established standards across SAP and non-SAP environments.
• Documents and presents risks and security issues that could impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAP systems and business processes both internally and externally.
• Works with the IT product team and other architects to suggest changes to SAP environments that would assist with eliminating vulnerabilities and mitigating the risk of exploitation resulting in potential incidents.
• Provides planning and review of SAP system and network designs to ensure compliance with company security policies and SAP security best practices.
• Provides Information Security Strategy architecture perspectives to other analysts and engineers in identifying the root cause of SAP-related security violations.
• Assists in analyzing root cause for technical issues within SAP systems and in designing measures and methods to mitigate future occurrences, i.e., system and process improvements to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provides technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to Architect I, including SAP security concepts and practices.
• Supports design, development, implementation, and/or integration of security systems and components for SAP landscapes, including networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Assists in identifying solutions and implementing automation of vulnerability scanning and detection for SAP applications and monitoring of the organization's infrastructure, applications, and network.
• Performs SAP security architecture reviews and ensures alignment to all regulatory and security standard methodologies.
• Supports in the review of SAP security technologies, tools, and services, making recommendations to IT, business, and project teams to ensure that solutions align with architecture direction and business strategies.
• Provides support to develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to implement SAP security solutions and capabilities aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers.
• Prioritizes architectural initiatives and solutions with Distinguished Architect and other senior executives and ensures they align with criticality, feasibility, and Information Security Strategy.

Required SAP Security Skills and Tools

• SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Rise security infrastructure architecture and implementation experience.
• Expertise in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) for access control and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori security and role-based access controls.
• Experience with SAP HANA database security, encryption, and secure configuration.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and integration security best practices.
• Ability to design and implement Segregation of Duties (SoD) and compliance frameworks within SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP user provisioning, identity management, and authorization concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP security audit tools, vulnerability scanning, and automation solutions.
