We're looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Technical Specialist. Have you worked in a large matrix organization, building and analyzing and improving processes to improve efficiency and scale of marketing teams?
The Operations Team plays a key role in enabling on-device communications and automation for our Organization's media products and services. The team focuses on the timely delivery, strategy, and execution of in-app messaging sent to millions of users across multiple services, including: Apple TV+, Music, Arcade, Fitness+, App Store, Apple One and iCloud.
Key Qualifications:
• At least 3-5 years in technical process design and improvement.
• Strong experience in data engineering, including designing scalable data models and architectures, and proficiency with Python, SQL, and data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
• Solid foundation in web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and full-stack
development, including REST API design, database integration, and containerization tools like Kubernetes.
• Effective collaborator across engineering, product, and marketing ops who can turn high-level requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Proven track record of challenging the status quo through data-driven results and strong cross-functional execution.
• Self-starter and big-picture problem solver with strong cross-group collaboration skills.
Nice To Have:
• Skilled in data analysis and creating insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js.
• Experience implementing machine learning solutions, including work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and techniques such as prompt engineering.
Description:
The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in technical process automation, tool enablement, solution architecture, and analytics/ML for marketing operations and execution. You have experience in online services (SAAS) and are comfortable with subscription based services at scale. Your primary focus will be on process improvement to enable scale and efficiency.
• Enable automation to bring efficiency in software issue escalation and investigation (issue notification, diagnosis, status update/communication, etc)
• Own end-to-end technical development in roadmap/scoping, API integration, data collection integrity, data pipeline management, process enhancements, and user tooling adoptions.
• Develop analytic tooling/ML to identify ecosystem issue patterns/trends to influence large future development .
Education:
BA/BS or advanced degree in Engineering, Analytics, or Technical Project Management
