School Psychologist - Carmichael, CA
Pay Rate: $70-$75 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Assignment Type: FMLA Coverage (likely to extend through the end of the 2025-2026 school year)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological and assessment services for children and adolescents. This role focuses on supporting student well-being through comprehensive evaluations, behavioral and developmental support, and collaborative consultation with staff and families.
This FMLA coverage assignment begins March 2, 2026 and is expected to extend through the remainder of the current academic year.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and eligibility determinations.
Provide support for developmental, emotional, behavioral, and mental health-related needs.
Develop and recommend intervention strategies and support plans.
Consult with staff and families to promote positive outcomes for students.
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation aligned with professional standards.
Provide services on-site at assigned location(s).
Minimum Requirements
Active, valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist in the state of assignment.
Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations (preferred).
Master's degree in Psychology or School Psychology (preferred).
Adherence to all professional and ethical practice standards.
Current CPR certification, if applicable.
TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray), if required.
Current health certificate, if required by state or contract.
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
