We are looking for qualified, highly proficient superintendent for our company. The primary responsibility will be an acting field superintendent responsible for ground up building and site construction projects. The position is an occasional hands on, bags on, working position, and requires first hand construction knowledge of various construction types.

Qualifications And Experience

• Must be able to read and understand the following qualifications. If you do not have the required experience, you will not be considered for the position.
• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a lead man or foreman for a crew of 5 men or more.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding plans.
• Must have your own hand tools, hard hat, work boots, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds with no restrictions.
• Must be able to schedule subcontractors in an organized fashion to maintain high efficiency on the job sites and maintain the project schedule.
• Must be proficient in MS Project and able to generate 4-week look ahead schedules.
• References to verify experience are required.
  
  

Job Locations: From Davis to Tahoe and from Chico to Modesto.

Job Details

• 40 hour work week. Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm)
• All employees are hired on a 90-day probation period, after which they will be offered medical, dental, and vision benefits.
• We work on a mixture of private and public projects.
• Prevailing wages are sometimes available, but not always.
• Due to flow and job requirements, may be asked to also perform concrete, wood framing, or steel framing work.

Questions You Will Be Expected To Answer

• Are you able to commute for this job?
• Are you able to work efficiently for 8 hours a day from Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm?
• Are you a legal US citizen or documented worker.
• Do you have any experience installing standing seam metal roofing and trim?
• Do you have any experience installing metal wall panels and trim?
• Do you have any experience setting up forms or pouring concrete?
• Do you have any wood framing experience?
  
  

Education

• High school or equivalent. (Preferred)
  
  

Experience In One Of The Following

• Metal Roofing installation - 5 years minimum
• Metal Siding Installation - 5 years minimum
• Metal Building Erection - 5 years minimum
• Wood Carpentry - 5 years minimum
• Concrete Setup - 5 years minimum
  
  

License/Certification

• Driver's License
• Forklift certification
• Boom lift certification
• Scissor lift certification
