We are seeking a professional and personable Surgery Authorizations Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that each Patient has a positive experience navigating through the surgical authorization process. You will respond promptly to inquiries, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, friendly, and familiar with insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient questions via phone, email, and in-person
• Obtain surgical and DME Authorizations
• Coordinate with Surgery Scheduler regarding surgery dates
• Communicate with patients regarding surgical quotes
• Timely follow up on surgical authorization denials
  
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive patient service

Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance products
• High school diploma/GED required, Bachelors degree preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and other software applications
