Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale a high-performing sales organization within a complex, multi-channel environment. This executive role is responsible for driving supplier and company initiatives, achieving financial objectives, and developing strong in-market sales capabilities through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and collaborative partnerships.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of senior sales leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and execute regional sales strategies in alignment with enterprise objectives and executive leadership direction
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, supplier partners, and trade marketing teams to develop and implement strategic and tactical sales initiatives
  • Direct and develop in-market sales teams to maximize revenue growth, field marketing effectiveness, and financial performance
  • Embed organizational values, standards, and ways of working across the sales organization
  • Provide P&L insight and financial guidance to support market-level profitability and growth targets
  • Maintain strong executive-level relationships with key, high-volume customer accounts across on-premise and off-premise channels
  • Continuously evaluate sales territories and account assignments to ensure optimal market coverage and performance
  • Manage sales expenses effectively and deliver against budgeted sales and margin objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while upholding product and brand integrity
  • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, performance, and continuous development
  • Coach, mentor, and challenge leaders to grow beyond comfort zones and strengthen bench talent
  • Protect confidential information and maintain operational integrity
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and professional working environment
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and sales leadership
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multi-level sales organizations
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including P&L understanding
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain required sales or solicitor permits
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or graduate degree
  • Cross-functional leadership experience (Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Project Management)
  • Experience working with large suppliers, distributors, or consumer-driven organizations
