Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. This position has the primary responsibility for leading a team of engineers in Asset Management ensuring that Eversource's Business Strategy for the Transmission program are optimally developed to provide the highest levels of system reliability at lowest possible costs. Specific responsibilities include: transmission substation programs and budgets, identifying process improvements with respect to development, approval and management of transmission projects, developing best practices and strategies for developing the required design deliverables and milestones of the transmission capital programs, developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with other functions thereby ensuring a high level of interaction and quality communications, and managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team.
Capital Program Development:
o Provide input to the development and prioritization of the Transmission capital budget, ensuring that Eversource's highest priority needs are met.
o Support the initiation and funding of substation driven capital projects and programs
o Participate in the development of the five-year, three-state Transmission Substation Capital Budget.
Team oversight:
o Supervise the performance of the assigned team. Develops employees through the use of performance management, coaching, and, as appropriate, rotational assignments
o Support the development of organization plans and processes to drive overall efficiency and culture change

• Knowledge of substation power system planning, engineering, maintenance, and operations.
