SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (ROYALTIES/LICENSING)
Duties:
Supervise and develop the staff accountant
Responsible for month end closing, which includes journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
Prepare the monthly financial statements and fluctuation analysis report
Work with the division's leadership team to develop the annual Budget and Reforecasts
Fully understand and review the various Royalty Licensing Agreements where the Company is the licensor to ensure accurate tracking, reporting and receipts
Oversee and maintain Dependable Solutions, the software used by the Company, to collect quarterly royalty reports from the licensees
Prepare invoices for the Guaranteed Minimum Royalties to send to the Company's licensees
Prepare ad hoc reports and special projects as required
Submission of quarterly royalty invoices to AP for payment
Work with the sales team to provide Sales Forecasts as requested by the Company's licensors
Oversee Direct Import ASN process to ensure timely invoicing to customers
Prepare monthly Direct Import shipping reconciliation
Experience & Requirements
BS Degree with emphasis in Accounting and/or Finance
5 years accounting / FP&A with retail, eCommerce & P&L background
Background in royalties/licensing preferred
Self-starter with significant level of accountability
Results Oriented

Strong relationship-building
Highly effective communicator
Knowledge of NetSuite and Dependable Solutions systems (Licensing software)
Strong knowledge of the MS Suite with a focus in Excel, including pivot tables, macros & formulas that will enable manipulations of large amounts of data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload
Strong follow-up skills and ability to work w/ remote supervision
