We have a clear vision of what success looks like in 2026 and are in need to fill the following opportunity to serve in a key leadership role with a highly skilled, entrepreneurially focused team.

The TransPro Sales Director is responsible for driving the company's revenue growth by leading TransPro's business development side of the organization, developing strategic sales initiatives, building high-performing teams, and fostering long-term customer relationships. This role oversees all sales operations- including planning, forecasting, budgeting, delivering sales outcomes and performance management-while ensuring alignment with TransPro's mission, vision and success outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals. This position will be expected to lead the end-to-end sales process targeting public transit agencies, regional transportation authorities, including airport authorities, Department of Transportations, and municipal clients.
  • Actively connected with TransPro's customers, analyze customer needs and actively identify new opportunities.
  • Create and manage annual sales budgets, forecasts, and performance targets and fully leveraging TransPro's CRM.
Team Management & Development
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing business development team.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular coaching, and participate in quarterly performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture that encourages accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Challenge the TransPro team to bring the impactful sales strategy to life including managing business development support resources and contributing to the overall business development success goals.
Sales Operations & Execution
  • Oversee the sales cycle, ensuring operational efficiency and excellent customer experience.
  • Implement sales processes, tools, and technologies (including TransPro's sales CRM system, dashboards and delivery workflows, etc.) to support action and reporting accuracy.
  • Develop and manage multiple proposal workstreams assuring proposal delivery complies with Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Qualifications (RFQ) requirements.
  • Track and analyze key sales metrics and KPIs to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Customer & Stakeholder Relationships
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with TransPro's customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Actively identify new sales opportunities across TransPro's core strategic business offerings of Planning, People and Performance.
Market & Business Development
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new market segments and strategic business opportunities.
  • Develop impactful collateral materials that position TransPro to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
  • Provide insights and feedback to product development teams based on customer and market needs.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the public transportation, highway and bridges, and/or aviation consulting sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a competitive marketplace.
Skills & Competencies
  • Must have strong business development skills.
  • Must have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills within the public transportation, transportation, and/or aviation industries.
  • Must have deep industry relationships with public sector leaders from across the U.S.
  • Expertise in sales strategy development, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple sales strategies.
