Remote Commercial Lines Account Manager

Location: Texas (Remote) *Must reside in Texas
License Requirement: Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) License

Position Overview:

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the agency's growth objectives. This role requires strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Review policies for accuracy and compliance; ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for new and renewal business.
  • Collaborate with carriers to negotiate terms and pricing for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with claims reporting and follow-up as needed.
  • Utilize agency management systems to track activities and maintain accurate client records.
Qualifications:
  • Must reside in Texas and hold an active Texas P&C license.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines account management within an independent agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (GL, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella, etc.).
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
