Job Summary

The Regional Business Director (RBD) will be responsible for hiring, developing, and leading their regional team of PAH Disease Specialist to launch Yutrepia and sell Treprostinil Injection in the PAH marketplace. This role will report to the VP of US Sales and provide exceptional leadership, perform with strategic agility, and display the importance of cross-collaboration with all company functions that impact sales. The RBD is responsible for sales performance at a region level, expected to be a product champion, and exhibit business knowledge of the local landscape to assess key stakeholders plus future trends within the PAH marketplace.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Cardiology, Pulmonary, or rare disease sales experience
  • PAH-HCP Relationships is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding results and developing others to their potential.
  • 2+ years of building and leading sales teams as a sales manager preferred
  • Launch Experience highly preferred
  • Experience formally coaching sales representatives in the field
  • Experience in developing and implementing regional business plans
  • Experience developing and leading sales training and sales meetings, either as a formal sales trainer or as a sales manager
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to generate insights from analytics, both interpreting reports and creating analyses from CRM and in Excel
  • Experience working with Specialty Pharmacy distributed therapies preferred
  • Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams, utilizing differential resources to achieve business goals
  • High social intelligence, integrity, and professionalism
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising operations of the Region which includes hiring and coaching, sales professional development, performance management, and active involvement in the strategic business planning of the region and each territory
  • Develop strong business relationships with top KOL's across the region and plan strategic business meetings in the field and at medical conferences
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with all cross-functional stakeholders within the Liquidia commercial organization
  • Develop and implement regional business plans and manage the Regions budget in alignment with Regional and National expectations
  • Be actively involved in the development and implementation of all new hire training, launch meeting, National/POA sales meetings, and ongoing training and development of the sales team
  • Maintain required clinical and technical expertise in order to respond accurately to all questions regarding products, marketing, policies, and business-related issues from customers and sales professionals
  • Demonstrate mastery of and adherence to all relevant compliance laws, policies, and processes; ensuring actions of self and team are fully compliant
  • Perform all other job-related duties as determined by business needs
