Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions for the CE portfolio.
Lead OneSDLC reviews and participate in Clean Energy meetings.
Coordinate with IRS teams to complete required OneSDLC artifacts.
Follow Agile methodology for planning, executing, and evaluating projects.
Provide technical expertise in system, technology, architecture, engineering, and software development.
Support software deployment, post-deployment production validations, and incident handling.
Spearhead the development and enhancement of software solutions, utilizing Java EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful web services.
Engage in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to enhance development, testing, and production environments.
Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalable and flexible application development in response to evolving legislative requirements.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices, incorporating secure coding techniques and utilizing tools for vulnerability assessment and code analysis.
Participate in code reviews, technical workshops, and strategy sessions to drive innovation and technical excellence within the team.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, with 7+ years of experience in Java development within large-scale enterprise environments.
Proficient in Java EE, Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful web services for developing scalable and secure applications.
Extensive experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, React, or Vue.js for creating intuitive user interfaces.
Solid understanding and practical experience with database design and development, including both SQL (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
Experienced in CI/CD pipeline construction using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle, enhancing development, testing, and deployment processes.
Skilled in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application development and deployment.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to build scalable and resilient systems.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, and tools for code analysis and vulnerability assessment.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively across teams, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Familiarity with IRS tools and processes.
