In this position, you will partner closely with senior leaders, innovation teams, and functional experts to turn complex information into clear direction. Your work will help identify growth opportunities, measure impact, track progress against goals, and continuously improve how decisions are made. You will lead the design of business insights that connect strategy to execution. This includes defining what success looks like, creating clear performance measures, and building dashboards and tools that leaders trust. You will translate business questions into data solutions, validate new concepts using evidence, and help teams focus on the work that delivers the greatest value. This role goes beyond reporting. You will shape strategic narratives, create executive level materials, and guide teams using clear metrics and objectives. You will create content that clearly communicates priorities, progress and innovation. You will also help modernize how insights are delivered by using automation, low code tools, and cloud platforms to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.

DESCRIPTION

In this role, you'll transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions, create intuitive visualizations, and deliver critical reporting that enhances business performance. Using your expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, you'll identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You'll provide analytics guidance, proactively recommending solutions and improvements based on your findings. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to deliver impactful insights that support our company's continued growth and success.

As a Senior Business Information Analyst, you will turn complex data into clear insights that guide strategy, innovation, and execution. You will work closely with strategy, digital, operational, and leadership teams to understand key business questions and convert them into measurable outcomes and properly communicate advances and value created. You will design and maintain digital content, key strategic presentations, video, user interfaces, analytics, dashboards, and reports that track progress against strategic goals, including Objectives and Key Results, which are clear goals and measurable outcomes. This role goes beyond reporting. You will help shape strategy by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities using data, advanced analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, to help make better decisions. You will define and track performance measures and Key Performance Indicators, to understand if the business is succeeding. You will create executive-level reporting and strategic artifacts such as scorecards, business reviews, roadmaps, and decision documents. You will support continuous improvement by measuring what works, what does not, and recommending changes based on evidence. You will also help modernize analytics solutions using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Azure. You will work in Agile teams, which means delivering work in small steps with regular feedback, using tools like Azure DevOps or Kanban to track progress. Strong communication is essential. You will translate data into stories, presentations, and written content that help leaders understand complex topics quickly and act with confidence. This role combines data skills, business thinking, and communication to drive innovation and performance across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate business and innovation goals into clear data questions, measurable outcomes, and actionable insights

• Support the discovery of new opportunities in drug development by analyzing trends, benchmarks, patterns, and signals across scientific, operational, and business data

• Define, track, and report Objectives and Key Results, which are goals paired with measurable outcomes that show progress

• Design and maintain Key Performance Indicators, which are metrics used to understand how well strategies and initiatives are performing

• Build and manage dashboards, scorecards, and reports that provide clear visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities

• Deliver executive-level reporting that summarizes complex information into simple, decision-ready insights

• Create strategic artifacts such as business reviews, performance summaries, roadmaps, and decision support documents and video

• Apply Artificial Intelligence, meaning data-driven systems that learn from patterns, to improve forecasting, prioritization, and decision-making

• Partner with business, scientific, and digital teams to validate ideas using data before scaling solutions

• Support continuous improvement by measuring outcomes, identifying gaps, and recommending data-backed changes

• Develop and enhance analytics solutions using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Azure• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and trust by following data quality and governance practices

• Work in Agile teams, which deliver work in small steps with regular feedback, using tools like Azure DevOps or Microsoft Kanban to track progress

• Communicate insights clearly through presentations, written summaries, and visual storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Support internal communications by creating clear content that explains performance, insights, and recommendations

• Balance multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on business impact and strategic value

• Act as a trusted analytics and strategic communication partner for leaders by proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and improvement areas

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred Fields of Study: Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative field

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Power BI, SQL, data analytics) are a plus

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel

• Strong experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and report automation

• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources

• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages preferred

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehouse concepts preferred

• Understanding of data governance and quality management principles

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong business acumen and customer focus

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences industry preferred

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in business performance, content creation, business analytics, business intelligence, or a related role

• Preferred fields of study include Communications, Business Analytics, Information Systems or similar disciplines

• Strong experience translating business strategy into measurable outcomes such as Objectives and Key Results, which align goals with results

• Proven ability to define, track, and improve Key Performance Indicators and performance measures

• Advanced proficiency in databases, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Excel

• Experience building dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting for leadership audiences

• Experience creating executive-level reporting, business reviews, and strategic artifacts such as roadmaps, decision briefs, and performance summaries

• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and analytics concepts, with the ability to apply them to business problems

• Experience using Microsoft tools, SharePoint

• Experience with Adobe tools (video, image)

• Experience with Power Apps to create simple business applications and automate workflows

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, which focus on fast learning and frequent delivery

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Kanban for work planning and tracking

• Strong ability to turn complex information into clear insights and simple stories for non-technical audiences

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including internal communications and content creation such as presentations, summaries, and guidance documents

• Strong business judgment with the ability to connect insights to strategic decisions

• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives using data to measure impact and guide change

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels, including senior leadership

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, or drug development or pharma environments preferred
