POSITION: Painter

This position description is intended to provide a guideline of what the duties, responsibilities and essential functions of this position are. Candidates selected for this position will train on a First Shift schedule and, once training is complete, will move to a Swing Shift schedule for their regular work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform activities on parts in preparation for painting
• Apply a variety of industrial coatings to plastic products including Class-A and texture paints
• Use a spray gun to apply paint on parts
• Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing to supervisor

• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

WORK ENVIROMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat and vibration.

• The employee is required to wear a mask, ear plugs, safety glasses, and finger protectors while working.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
