Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Great opportunity for an experienced fire sprinkler fitter, or someone with plumbing/fitting experience that is open to learning fire protection.

Responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining fire sprinkler and piping systems in accordance with codes and project specifications.

Key Duties

• Install pipe systems, valves, fittings, and sprinklers
• Cut, thread, assemble, and bond piping per specifications
• Maintain, clean, and replace piping components
• Read and follow blueprints and verify material measurements
• Maintain company vehicle and complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Technical training preferred
• Fire Sprinkler License preferred
• 25 years of fire sprinkler installation experience is preferred - We will train someone with plumbing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently or in a team
• Basic math, organization, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to use computers/tablets and read electronic blueprints (Salesforce/Microsoft Office a plus)
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet all background/drug-screen requirements
