Job Summary:

Provides ongoing system provider maintenance, research and support according to defined plans and documentation. Assists with maintaining the data integrity of the health plan system(s) as it relates to provider records. Works on routine assignments within defined parameters, established guidelines and precedents.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:
  • Assists with ensuring that provider records are accurately created and maintained and that updates are completed within designated timeframes.
  • Assists the supervisor in ensuring that provider directories and regulatory requirements are accurate.
  • Requests for new or updates to provider records and ensures accuracy in loading documents or claims.
  • Identifies Tax ID Numbers (TIN) owners, payment addresses, network affiliations, etc. Is responsible for maintaining Adventist Health Medical Staff database.
  • Receives, researches, and answers questions from staff members regarding provider updates and quality issues.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
