Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry/Data Entry Specialist to join our team, supporting Sales People in processing orders for the casino. This is a critical onsite position that requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately key in sales orders for delivery using 10-key data entry methods.
• Perform order entry and general data entry tasks (Google Docs, Salesforce, and other tools as needed).
• Review and verify orders for accuracy; ensure attention to detail in all aspects of order processing.
• Conduct internet research to gather and confirm business information as necessary.
• Communicate with businesses and customers via phone and email to gather, confirm, and relay information.
• Compose and send professional emails; take messages and handle incoming calls from customers.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for all orders and communications.
• Report daily to the onsite office and maintain perfect attendance (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
Required Qualifications
• 0-3 years of relevant office experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with MS Outlook, Google Docs, and Oracle is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable with internet navigation and online research.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and remain organized in a busy office setting.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to switch between assignments quickly.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not required.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required (onsite presence mandatory).
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and customer service teams.
