About Us:
Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications—providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others.
About the role:
PFC is in search for a CNC Machinist who will work with lathes, mills and mill turn machines to make aerospace valves and other components for launch vehicles (rockets!).

The role is a fully on-site role located in our Lincoln, CA.

What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and mill-turn machines to produce aerospace-grade parts and components
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine specifications
- Load raw materials and monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and other departments to resolve issues
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, and gauges)
- Modify machine programs when necessary to improve production quality and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of zero defects
What You'll Need:
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and mechanical drawings
- At least 3 years of experience in CNC operation/setup
- Strong understanding of machining principles and tool selection
- Demonstrated strong desire to learn, maintain a positive attitude, and uphold excellent attendance as part of a reliable and high-performance team
- Work experience performing precision machining of titanium, aluminum, Inconel, and composite materials
Nice To Have:
- Experience working with Mazatrol
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, Esprit, or other CAD/CAM software
- Experience with tight tolerance work (±.0001") and multi-axis machining (3-, 4-, or 5-axis)
- Familiarity with aerospace regulations and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP)
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay Range: $25.00-55.00 per hour. Commensurate with candidate experience.
- Shift Differentials on night and weekend shifts
- Schedule: Nights: M-Th's 4/10 shift available, or Weekends: Fri-Sun 3/10 shift available
