Overview: If you are interested in helping individuals access essential transportation services, we encourage you to apply for our Trip Reservation Specialist position. Here, you will play a vital role in scheduling trips for eligible passengers and ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and handle passenger calls, gathering essential trip details for scheduling.
  • Provide vital information to current and prospective passengers on how to effectively use our transportation services.
  • Conduct data entry for passenger records and specific trip requests, while negotiating times when necessary.
  • Follow up with passengers regarding changes and provide timely notifications for cancellations to the scheduling team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date passenger records in our customer database.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols to protect yourself and your colleagues.
  • Keep organized filing systems and records.
  • Communicate clearly with operations staff about any scheduling or passenger-related issues.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Show reliability with consistent attendance.
  • Collaborate as a team player, offering support to management and peers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in paratransit scheduling with Trapeze PASS is preferred.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and an excellent record of attendance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in telephone speaking or call center operations is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Starting Pay Rate: $23.17/hour
