Shipping and Inventory Clerk
This Warehouse role is responsible for picking of customer orders, pull material for shop orders, cycle count inventory, perform shipping transactions (in an ERP system and Shipping systems) and assisting in other general warehouse duties as directed. This position is within a small manufacturing facility.

This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and is temporary to hire opportunity.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Associate is responsible for the performance of the following quality system functions in accordance with documented procedures:

• Picking, packing and shipping of finished goods in a manner that prevents damage, deterioration and mix-ups.
• Entering orders into the system
• Tracking and verifying existing orders
• Assist the receiving department when needed.
• Handling of finished goods inventory in a manner that prevents damage and to our standards of quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a professional warehouse environment
• Experience in handling, storage and distribution activities.
• Must be computer-literate with moderate typing skills.
• Use of various shipping platforms, FedEx, UPS, USPS
• Adequate knowledge and understanding of safe handling procedures, including material segregation and returned goods.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with computers and basic data entry
• Ability to deal successfully with internal customers in providing a high level of service in the performance of the above.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The individual performing the duties of this position will be required to lift or move boxes and raw material not to exceed 35 lbs.

BASIC HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be over 18 years of age and willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to provide at least 3 positive business references from prior employers, managers or supervisors
• Must have reliable means of transportation

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
