We are currently looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our IT team in our El Dorado Hills corporate office.
Help Desk Technician day-to-day:
- Responsible for providing support for hardware, software, basic networking, web application, and remote access.
- Set up and configure end-user devices such as laptops and tablets.
- Work with the Systems Administrator and Application Support Analyst to determine root cause of end-user issues and implement solutions.
- Communicate with jobsite personnel to coordinate equipment delivery, configuration, and setup.
- Promptly triage and respond to requests, through the helpdesk ticketing system, for technical assistance in person, via phone calls and/or electronic submission
- Assist with the management and maintenance of all computer software, laptops, and iPads, in-person and remotely.
- Support and set up additional network devices such as printers and internet devices.
- Will apply current diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve end user computer problems.
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing and present to users as needed on IT matters.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures along with safety programs with respect to the IT Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the IT function.

What we're looking for: - One year certificate from college or technical
- Six months providing internal help desk support.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1+ year of providing internal help desk support within construction is preferred.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail through accuracy on assigned tasks.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of products, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Ability to communicate effectively with written and/ or verbal communication skills is essential.
- Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships with project teams, vendors and other departments and market segments is necessary.
- Must be able to represent Roebbelen in a professional manner at all times to ensure company policies and procedures, as well as compliance to all applicable laws and regulations.
