Electro-Mechanical Assembler

PrideStaff in Roseville is working with a local company to place an assembler in their manufacturing facility. This is a temp-hire opportunity. Prior experience and success in a similar environment combined with a great work ethic and pleasant, professional and positive demeanor is required.

Summary:

Primary job function will be to perform repetitive manufacturing assembly operations to mass-produce high tech assemblies and/or products such as Mechanical/Electrical sub-assemblies.

Required Experience:

• Assembly involving drilling, soldering, wiring, read and understand basic electronic and mechanical schematics
• Familiar with types of fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws, and other hardware used in computer assembly
• Familiarity with computer components and their functionality/operations. Computer assembly, operating systems, software installation, networking and general hardware setup.
• Strong mechanical and electromechanical aptitude
• Trouble Shooting / Problem Solving
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and their usage
• Basic electronics knowledge
• Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy with assembly skills required to build products in a repetitive environment.
• Building or configuring new hardware, system troubleshooting, including boot troubleshooting, virus removals, and disk cloning
• Execute tests and debug programs
• Knowledge in computer components and assembly a plus
• Knowledge in aviation and aircraft a plus

• Must be over 18 years of age
• Must have proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

• Must have reliable and consistent means of transportation
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must have positive and pleasant demeanor and proven track record of recent and relevant/similar work
