All Systems Electrical, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer with strong experience in AutoCAD Electrical, UL508A control panel design, and hands-on work in industrial applications. This role is focused specifically on the design and documentation of control panels—from layout and schematics to component selection and compliance.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering accurate, code-compliant, and build-ready panel designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop control panel layouts and wiring schematics using AutoCAD Electrical

  • Design panels in compliance with UL508A, NEC, and customer specifications

  • Interpret electrical one-lines, P&IDs, and technical documents to create full drawing packages

  • Specify electrical components and generate accurate bills of materials

  • Collaborate with production and purchasing to ensure designs meet quality and cost standards

  • Review and revise designs based on internal or customer feedback

  • Support project teams with timely, accurate design documentation

What You Bring:

  • 3–7 years of experience in control panel design or industrial controls engineering

  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical (required)

  • In-depth understanding of UL508A, NEC, and industrial panel design practices

  • Familiarity with control panel components: breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLC hardware, VFDs, etc.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams
