Drafting (CADD) Adjunct Assistant Professor The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean; help students fulfill their potential in mastering course content; assess student learning outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the regular teaching field; engage in continuing professional development; utilize current technology in the performance of job duties.
- Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position; assist with articulation and curriculum development and review.
- Serve on college committees and participate in faculty governance including accreditation and student co-curricular activities.
- Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the area dean and fulfill other duties and responsibilities of an adjunct faculty member.

Salary Information
Initial maximum salary placement is based on academic degree, upper/graduate level units earned, and/or related professional experience. The initial maximum placement is Class V, Step 1. For step placement details, please refer to the district guidance.

- Teach courses such as DESGN 270 Intro to Applied Drone Technology; DESGN 271 Survey of Applied Drone Tech in Design; DESGN 295 Independent Studies in Design Technology.
Minimum Qualifications

- Have a bachelors degree or higher and two years of professional experience; OR an associate degree and six years of professional experience; OR the equivalent. Professional experience must be directly related to the assignment being taught. All degrees must be from an accredited institution completed by time of hire.
