Caregiver

Silvana Senior Care is seeking Caregivers to assist in the care, well-being, and safety of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform safety checks on residents.
• Assist in bathing, dressing, feeding, resident hygiene management and medication assistance.
• Escort residents to/from meals and activities.
• Assist residents in emergencies, including calling 911 when necessary.
• Clean resident rooms, complete laundry, assist with resident dietary requirements, including meal preparation.
• Chart and document appropriate information; complete incident reports.
• Provide and lead resident activities.
• Participate in training.
• Ensure safety and health of residents; report any health, safety and sanitation concerns to the administrator.
• Report known or suspected elder abuse pursuant to LOC 341A (within 2 days of an incident).

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Possess DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearances.
• Current first aide and CPR certification.
• Completed a health screening and negative TB test in less than 6 months or completed within 7 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. unassisted and push 40 lbs. unassisted.
