Description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for picking of customer orders, pull material for shop orders, cycle count inventory, perform shipping transactions (in an ERP system and Shipping systems) and assisting in other warehouse duties as directed.

• Picking, packing and shipping of finished goods in a manner that prevents damage, deterioration and mix-ups.
• Quarantine of sterilized product pending QA release
• Assist the receiving department when needed.
• Handling of finished goods inventory in a manner that prevents damage and to our standards of quality.

Requirements

• Experience in handling, storage and distribution activities.
• Adequate knowledge and understanding of safe handling procedures, including material segregation and contaminated returned goods.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to deal successfully with internal customers in providing a high level of service in the performance of the above.
• Proficiency in using a computer and good typing skills and speed
• Proficient in 10-key typing
• Good Excel skills

• Physical Requirements: The individual performing the duties of this position will be required to lift or move boxes and raw material not to exceed 35 lbs.

The expected base salary range for this position is between $19.50-20.50 per hour and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications.
