We are seeking an experienced and reliable Assembly Technician/Nickel Plater to join our team. The ideal candidate is task-oriented, introspective, and comfortable with repetitive tasks in an environment with minimal interruptions. You should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and experience in assembly or manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:

• Follow detailed instructions to assemble components using hand and power tools
• Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary materials
• Ensure accurate assembly of all parts and components
• Identify and report any defective parts or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform quality checks on components and finished products
• Operate assembly machines such as drill presses and grinders
• Working around/with chemicals in the plating process - Barrel and Rack plating
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Assist in other areas of production as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing ()
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedure manuals
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Basic math skills for measurements and simple calculations
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, be able to work both independently and in a team setting, and maintain focus on detailed, repetitive tasks. Mechanical or construction experience is beneficial for this role.
