Job Details

Our Client is seeking a UX Researcher for a W2-only, extendable 1-year Contract position in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a hybrid position, 3-4 days per week onsite. The position pays $50-70/hr W2.

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct agile research to keep pace with rapid team innovation while maintaining a big-picture understanding of customer groups.
2. Perform research activities including study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
3. Conduct various testing methods such as lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototypes, iterative prototypes, concept testing, field research, and surveys.
4. Manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multitask in an agile environment.
5. Support the design and implementation of research strategies, gaining experience across diverse methods and tools.
6. Perform quick, thorough data analysis to generate insightful findings.
7. Participate in fast-paced team iterations and also step back to ask strategic questions that influence program direction.

Required Skills :

1. Broad skills in user research and design research methods with a thorough understanding of qualitative research concepts.
2. Experience in the automotive industry.
3. Deep understanding of user research methods, a nimble, creative, pragmatic approach, and interest in pushing boundaries within agile research.
4. Passionate about research with strong observational and analytical skills, excellent collaboration with teams and designers, and a commitment to user-centric solutions.
5. 3+ years of proven success managing end-to-end User Research projects.
6. Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field.
7. A strong research portfolio demonstrating relevant work, including study plans and reports.

Pay is based on market location and experience. Contractors may be eligible for health benefits (health, dental, vision) and a 401K plan.
