Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team in California on a contract-to-hire basis. • Perform duties associated with the staff accountant role, focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll-related tasks.
• Gain exposure to financial statements and contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

The position offers a competitive salary range from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, with potential for growth and advancement within the company upon successful completion of the contract period.
