The Cybersecurity team enables PG&E to achieve its mission by providing governance, oversight, and support of operational resiliency and asset safeguards in a relevant, timely and data-driven manner. The Cybersecurity team consists of security professionals in their chosen disciplines working together to review the current cyber threat landscape and lend our expertise to help the company understand its security posture and act on the highest priority risks. The Cybersecurity team takes a proactive approach to security by focusing on the cyber risks PG&E faces. Our methodology and framework synthesize current legal, regulatory, and operating mandates with PG&E's business goals and operations. By taking this information and focusing on the cyber risks unique to individual Lines of Business (LOB), Cybersecurity helps PG&E's LOBs make informed decisions about where to invest their resources.
Deliver cybersecurity functions to effectively ensure the safe and reliable operation of PG&E Information Technology & Operational Technology systems. As part of the IAM Operations team, this individual is responsible for performing analysis of business requirements and problems, driving research, and designing quality identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions. Primary responsibilities will be to develop and successfully complete new application onboarding with our on-prem IGA system including Active Directory/Azure, Database, Webservice, SCIM based, Salesforce, SAP and more integration types. The successful candidate will understand PG&E's current IGA implementation including Leaver/Changer/Mover processes, workflow configuration, complex customization and provide value input to determine the best implementation path considering best practices and affordability. The successful candidate will advise team members on best practices in coding and IGA integrations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for system life cycle planning, maintenance, and performance tuning PG&E's IGA system and be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. This position will solve complex problems independently, demonstrate analytical thinking, and make sound judgments, decisions and recommendations based on their analysis and interpretation of data. This position is accountable for the successful development and execution of overall Cybersecurity department strategic plans in alignment with company strategic vision and goals.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Rocklin or Oakland, CA approximately once per week or more based on business needs.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
Bay Area Minimum: $132,000.00
