This is a full time position 4-5 days a week. Our office is located in Folsom Ca. We are looking to add to our team. We are committed to be a successful office with excellent customer care and team work. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional care for our patients as well as being able to proficiently assist the doctor, take excellent x-rays as well as detailed charting and other assisting duties. Endodontics experience is a plus, but we will train. Applicant must have good communication skills with patients as well as with other team mates and the Doctors, as we work as a team.

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the dentists during the examination and treatment of patients.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent

Dental assisting program with valid certifications.

CERTIFICATIONS:

R.D.A. license must be active and have current CPR license

Dental Assistant X-ray license, Current CPR, 2hr Practice Act and 8hr Infection control certifications needed.

EXPERIENCE:

1 year Dental Assistant experience preferred

Knowledge of dental practice and procedures

Knowledge of taking dental radiographs

Knowledge of dental electronic charting is a plus.
